Second Grade - Mrs. Packham

Classroom News

UPDATE for April 15, 2018

We are in the last weeks of school.  Can you believe it?  So much to still do and so little time.

This week I will be gone.  My daughter had her baby, an adorable little baby boy, and I am in Nevada helping with the family.  It is a short week and your children are in the best of hands.  Mrs. Brumley will be teaching them for the first three days and Sheri Clark will be there on Thursday.   Homework doesn't change much:  math everyday, language arts on Tuesday, and spelling on Wednesday.  Reading is, of course, everyday.  Monday there will be no writing this week - no chance to publish.

Keep working on gathering those sponsers for the jog-a-long.  We would love this fund raiser to be super successful.

We have Good Friday and Good Monday (April 19 and 22) - no school days.  Then I will be back on April 23.  Hope you feel the joy of this wonderful Easter Holiday.  As Always, Keep Reading!

May God Bless You!

Mrs. Packham

Favorite Bible Verse:  Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you:  not as the world giveth, give I unto you.  Let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid."  John 14:29

My faith in God is and has always been the foundation in my life.  I believe God wants us to grow and to learn.  What an opportunity to be able to teach at a wonderful school like St. Nicholas where I can help children know how important they are to God as part of their education.
