UPDATE for October 15, 2018

This is parent teacher week.  Hopefully you each received an email from me inviting you to set up an appointement to meet.  I look forward to seeing each of you and discussing the progress of your child.  Please set your appointment up as soon as possible.  Email me with a date and time.  Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday all work. after school.  Friday would be best in the morning.  I will get back to you as soon as I can.  School is dismissed at 1 pm on Thursday and there is no school on Friday.

This Thursday we go to the Pumpkin Patch.  Please be sure to wear warm clothing.  We can take off coats if we have them.  It is hard to find more to wear to keep warm.  Of course if you would like to join us at the pumpkin patch, we would love to have you come.

We have a fairly normal work week.  The only change being that we will not be taking all of our tests on Friday.  We will probably have time to take a spelling test on Thursday so practice your words every day.  You could write them with different colors or have mom give you a test on them.  We are practicing "kn" and "wr" and "ph".

Thanks for all you do.  My second grade kids are great!  God Bless you!  Mrs. Packham

Favorite Bible Verse:  Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you:  not as the world giveth, give I unto you.  Let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid."  John 14:29

My faith in God is and has always been the foundation in my life.  I believe God wants us to grow and to learn.  What an opportunity to be able to teach at a wonderful school like St. Nicholas where I can help children know how important they are to God as part of their education.
