Beginning of School

Dear Parents,

As you may have heard, Minidoka County School District is moving to a modified schedule for students attending public school. After conferring with South Central Health representatives, we are please to inform you that St. Nicholas Catholic School will be moving forward with an in-school schedule as planned. We are blessed to be a small enough school to implement safety procedures that meet all recommendations by the Health Dept.

Open House will be as follows:

 August 18th 5:30 – 6:00 for A-F and 6:15-6:45 for G-L

August 19th 5:30-6:-45 M-Q and 6:15-6:45 R-Z

*Please wear a mask to this event.

School begins:

Kinder-6th grade on Thursday, August 20th

Pre-school on Monday, August 24th.

After-care will be available for those who signed up for this program starting on August 20th.

The school district will provide busing Monday-Thursdays for all students in the district. Since Minidoka Schools are not holding classes on Fridays, parents will need to bring their children to school on that day. Please call the bus garage (208436-3311) to confirm your child’s desire to ride the bus.

On a separate note, we are fortunate to have all instructional positions filled except for one. We are looking for computer/PE instructor. The job hours are from 11:30-3:30 Monday- Thursday. Please call the school if you are interested.

Thank you!
